How do I find what I am looking for?
|
Our site has been designed to make locating the products you are looking for as simple as posible.
- Browse the site
You can browse the using the links at the top of each page. Depending on the category selected, you will be
presented with a list of further subcategories or a range of products. You can sort products by price, strength
or alphabetically using the sort options at the top right of the page. Where more product or categories are available
than we can fit on the page, a list of page numbers will appear in the same area, from which you can select the page to view.
If you prefer, you can show everything on one page by clicking 'Show All'. When you find a product or category
you are interested in looking at futher, click the image or the 'More' link. If the items listed are products
you can also add it to your basket by clicking the 'Add' link.
- Search the site
You can also search our site using the search section at the top of every page. You can enter a word, a number of
words or a product code if you know it. You can then sort and filter the results so that you can find exactly what you
are looking for.
- Home Page Suggestions
Our home page often displays exciting new products and special offers and is a good place to start if you are
not quite sure what you are looking for!

Registering, Signing In And Managing Your Account
|
When you want to place an order with Boaters or to tell us you would like receive correspondence from us,
such as email or catalogues, you need to register you details on our website.
- Registering
To register with us, please click the 'Sign In' link at the top of each page (unless you are already signed in),
and following the on screen instructions. Please be sure to complete all the sections
marked as required so that we can process your orders most efficiently and ensure that we address you
correctly. Please note that all your details will remain confidential and will will never pass them on
to a third party. You will be prompted to register if you have not done so previously, when you checkout when
ordering with us.
- Signing In
If you are a returning customer or have registerd with us previously, you can sign in to your account by clicking
the 'Sign In' link at the top of every page (unless you are already signed in) and then
entering your email address and password. If you've forgotten your password, enter your email address and click
'Remind Me' for an email reminder.
- Managing Your Account
Once you have either signed in or registered, you can then view the details of you personal Boaters account at any time
by clicking the 'My Account' link, now present at the top of every page. Here you can view previous orders,
manage you address book, update your details and sign out of your account. You can also sign out of you account
by clicking the 'Sign Out' link at the top of every page.

Ordering & Checkout
|
When you are ready to order, you need to add the items you wish to purchase to you bag. To do this
simply click the 'Add' button next to the product you wish to add, if you are viewing a selection of products, or
if you are view the details of the product, enter a quantity to add to you bag, select from the product options
where applicable and then click 'Add To Bag'.
- Checking Out
You will be pleased to know that checkout is quick, simple and painless here at Boaters!
To checkout, click either the 'Checkout' link at the top of the page, or the Bag picture next to it to take you to a summary
of your bag contents. You can amend quantities of the items in your bag here and remove items if you wish. When you are ready
to continue click the 'Checkout' link below you bag summary.
- Sign In / Register
If you have not already signed in or registered, follow the on screen instructions to sign in or register accordingly,
as detailed in the previous section.
- Delivery & Payment
The next step is to tell us where you want your order delivering and you payment details. Select an existing address
from the drop down list which lists all addresses in your address book, or add a new address by clicking the 'Add'
link. You can also edit an existing address by selecting the address and clicking 'Edit'. Once you have selected
your delivery address, the delivery options list will change and list the available delivery options and prices
from which you can select your preference. You also need to provide payment details in the section lower down the page.
When completing this section, please be sure to specify your billing address as the address where your payment
card is registered otherwise your order may be delayed due to bank security checks.
- Review Order
In this stage of checking out, we simply ask you to double check the details of your order to make sure everything is
correct before confirming it. If you spot any errors, click the 'Back' button to return to stage 2 of checking out.
Once you are happy with everything, click 'Confirm Order' to place your order with Boaters.
- Order Confirmation
Your order has now been placed with us and this stage of checking out confirms this. You will shortly receive
an email from us containing the details of your order for your records. And that's it! All done.
